San Diego Triathlons

San Diego is truly the mecca for triathlons and other multisports. Four years before the very first Ironman, September 25, 1974 the first triathlon was held on Mission Bay in San Diego. Now there are over a dozen triathlons per year in San Diego County. San Diego has the perfect climate and weather for year-round training and a long race season. There are also duathlons, rough water swims, and many other multi-sport activities that take place in our beautiful communities in and around San Diego.

This used to be the only information we had for the triathlons in San Diego...this partial events calendar below. Then we began to realize that we needed to develop this area and have built an entire site dedicated to the triathlon community in San Diego, California.
