Balboa Park
With more than 1200 acres of sprawling green vistas, Balboa Park is home to an
enormous array of museums, galleries, theaters, and the world famous San Diego Zoo.Belmont Park
Belmont Park is the home of the Giant Dipper roller coaster , also built by Spreckels in 1925.
Originally named the Mission Beach Amusement Center, the park also featured The Plunge
(then a salt water pool), fun house, roller rink, dance hall and midway.
