Access Center of San Diego
The Access Center of San Diego, Inc. is an independent living center. Services include
information and referral, peer counseling, independent living skills training, personal
care attendant referral, employment and financial benefits counseling, and advocacy.
The Braille Institute
The Braille Institute/San Diego Center serves people who are visually impaired. The
center includes a library, counseling and support groups, independent living skills and
enrichment classes for adults, youth services, visual aids consultations, and access
technology.
City of San Diego
The City of San Diego's Disabilities Services Program coordinates city compliance
with the federal Americans with Disabilities Act that extends civil protection to
persons with disabilities.
